Clinical Psychologist
HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist PYL38778

I completed my professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oxford and I am chartered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). I have a wide range of clinical experience, having worked across various NHS mental and physical health services, including intensive and acute care environments. In these roles, I have provided assessment and evidence-based psychological support for both adults and young people.

In my current NHS role, I provide psychological support to young people with physical health conditions, as well as support to their parents. I work with adults and young people experiencing a range of difficulties that impact their lives, including anxiety (such as panic, social anxiety, and phobias), low mood, self-criticism, and low self-esteem. I also support individuals managing physical health problems, such as pain, fatigue, and appearance-related distress, as well as those who have experienced single-incident trauma (for example, traumatic accidents).

I have extensive experience working with family members, including parents of young people navigating mental and/or physical health difficulties. In addition, I have supported partners and relatives of adults and older adults with neurological conditions, including brain injuries and dementia.

I am trained in a range of evidence-based, time-limited therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I recognise the importance of building a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship to support understanding and meaningful change. I bring a compassionate and down-to-earth approach to my work. I aim to help you develop a shared understanding of the difficulties you are experiencing and to work alongside you to reduce distress, so that you can live in accordance with your values and what matters most to you.
